I’m Rukhsana based in Islamabad. Have been working in the Pakistani development sector for over 25 years. Focus and expertise in women’s economic empowerment and gender equality. Afreena Noor
Afreina here. Based in Montréal, Quebec, since 2018. She is the co-creator of the Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN.ORG) from 2007-2010. After which she worked with the National Democratic Institute in 2010-2011, and Alif Ailaan (a DAI campaign) in 2017. She is a Fulbright scholar with a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) 2013. She has worked with Telenor Pakistan in digital innovation and was part of the core team to launch Hum News in 2018. Currently, Afreina is working as a Project Manager at Midnight Marketing, a marketing agency. She is the President of COCo, a Quebec based non-profit. She also serves on the Public Relations committee for the Quebec Writers’ Federation, where she served as the communications officer 2021-2022. And also sits on the fundraising committee for Youth Employment Services – YES Montréal.
